These Sacred Four form what is known as the Cardinal Cross; held together they are the whirling wheel that creates the Sacred Path-Way of Praxis. For this is “the Way”, that by this Integral Path that combines Inspiration, Thought, Feeling made Real, it is by this that your wondrous Journey of the Divine-that-is-the-Self-Becoming is made manifest.
For you are an Immortal moving through mortal realms and forms. You move into Worlds, Bodies and Lives, but forever and ever you will always “walk on” through and beyond any one world, body or life. You are the self-becoming more and more of what you will be as you unfold the Spark of the Divine that resides at the Core of you in each and every life.
And in each life you will grow and become what you are meant to be through “Trial & Error”. You will succeed at times, and you must and will also stumble. For it is by these “failures” and your adjustments that you climb the spiral path of conscious redemption. And, it is by this that you will come to understand, accept and become more of what you are here to be…a fully conscious co-creator of this Cosmos.
Yes you are climbing, higher and higher, and at each turning you face again the ancient questions and fundamental truths that were there at the beginning…oh so long ago.
Today, as Winter begins, when the shadows have stretched to their greatest extent, and the light seems to be fading away, it is now that you and the world will hold your breath…and you will pray. It is time once again, to face the darkness and believe, that Light and Truth and Goodness will not fade away. It is time to remember who you are, where you came from, who is before you, and why you are here…it is time once again to have a living faith in your destiny.
For though it may seem that your world is falling into shadows, that your life and world is in dire peril…you will find a way through. As the familiar forms of self-realization are cracking and crumbling, whether in the realms of Religion, or Government, or Education or the Economy…you will come to know that this is merely the wheel of life turning again, for an old world is passing so that a new and better one shall rise…as it has done many, many times before.
And this change, this re-birth, does not come from on high, it will not come by Fiat or by the will of the temporal holders of Power. No, the change in every world, form and life starts in the center of each and every one of you, from within each and every individual heart that hears the “Wind of the Spirit” and answers to the angels of our better nature. It is the "Voice of the Silence", your Higher Self abiding in the Intuitive Knowing that a better world is coming to be…and that you must be its Creator.
Each year, at this time of Capricorn, you are asked to examine quite simply this one question, “What is the Responsible thing to do, what is my Responsibility?" To understand this you need but turn that word around. Your responsibility is always and forever about your “ability to respond”. To what, you might ask. What or to who are you responding? There is much work to do when a world is passing away and another is coming into being. Your responsibility is great, but so is your reward. Preserve what you can, for many lives and loves fashioned this world and much in it is good. Be guided by your heart and know that the changes you must face and make should be guided always by the fundamental truth that you are here for one another, you are made by one another, and to harm any other inevitably means that you injure yourself equally too.
Today you need remember, that even in the darkest hour, there remains a Light that will not go out, a Love that will not fail, and a Promise that will be Fulfilled. And this is so because you stand within a shining Hierarchy of Light that stretches from the Heart of Creation to the furthest reaches of this Cosmos. Every being within this Company of Brave Souls is slowly awakening to the truth, that all are sparks of the Divine, and in the heart of each soul there is found the Alignment and Attunement to one another. All of Creation is of the One, and every particle, life, planet, star and galaxy are At-Onement through and by the Love of the One, and by your love for one another too.

Since its creation, the open Internet has helped strengthened our democracy, spur innovation and connect communities around the globe. This equal playing field called “net neutrality” has defended the open Internet from corporations that want to control it for profit.
Right now the Federal Communications Commission is considering a rule that would allow large Internet providers like Verizon and Comcast to charge businesses for faster access to Internet users. This rule would give large corporations yet another advantage over small Internet companies. These types of pay-to-play agreements are unacceptable and would cause the Internet as we know it to cease to exist.
We must not allow the FCC to let big corporations to turn a profit by putting a fee on the free flow of ideas. The FCC is asking for the public to comment and I hope you will weigh in here. Make your voice heard and help save net neutrality.

Russia To Reopen Cuban Mega-Base To Spy on America
Moscow and Havana have reportedly reached an agreement on reopening the SIGINT facility in Lourdes, Cuba – once Russia’s largest foreign base of this kind – which was shut down in 2001 due to financial problems and under US pressure.
When operational, the facility was manned by thousands of military and intelligence personnel, whose task was to intercept signals coming from and to the US territory and to provide communication for the Russian vessels in the western hemisphere.
Russia considered reopening the Lourdes base since 2004 and has sealed a deal with Cuba last week during the visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to the island nation, reports Kommersant business daily citing multiple sources.
“I can say one thing: at last!” one of the sources commented on the news to the paper, adding that the significance of the move is hard to overestimate.
The facility in Lourdes, a suburb of Havana located just 250km from continental USA, was opened in 1967. At the peak of the cold war it was the largest signal intelligence center Moscow operated in a foreign nation, with 3,000 personnel manning it.
From the base Russia could intercept communications in most part of the US including the classified exchanges between space facilities in Florida and American spacecraft. Raoul Castro, then-Defense Minister of Cuba, bragged in 1993 that Russia received 75 percent of signal intelligence on America through Lourdes, with was probably an overstatement, but not by a large amount.
Following the collapse of the Soviet Union the base was downscaled, but continued operation. After Russia was hit the 1998 economic crisis, it found it difficult to maintain many of its old assets, including the Lourdes facility. In Soviet times Cuba hosted it rent-free, but starting 1992 Moscow had to pay Havana hundreds of millions dollars each year in addition to operational costs to keep the facility open.

An additional blow came in July 2000, when the US House passed the Russian-American Trust and Cooperation Act, a bill that would ban Washington from rescheduling or forgiving any Russian debt to the US, unless the facility in Lourdes is shut down.
Moscow did so in 2001 and also closed its military base in Vietnam’s Cam Ranh, with both moves reported as major steps to address Americans’ concerns. But, in the words of a military source cited by Kommersant, the US “did not appreciate our gesture of goodwill.”
No detail of schedule for the reopening the facility, which currently hosts a branch of Cuba’s University of Information Science, was immediately available. One of the principle news during Putin’s visit to Havana was Moscow’s writing off of the majority of the old Cuban debt to Russia. The facility is expected to require fewer personnel than it used to, because modern surveillance equipment can do many functions now automatically.
With the Lourdes facility operational again, Russia would have a much better signal intelligence capability in the western hemisphere.
“Returning to Lourdes now is more than justified,” military expert Viktor Murakhovsky, a retired colonel, told Kommersant. “The capability of the Russian military signal intelligence satellite constellation has significantly downgraded. With an outpost this close to the US will allow the military to do their job with little consideration for the space-based SIGINT echelon.”

WASHINGTON — President Obama imposed a new round of sanctions against Russia on Wednesday, targeting some of the crown jewels of the country’s financial, energy and defense industries in what officials described as the most punishing measures taken to date by the United States in retaliation for Moscow’s intervention in Ukraine.
The new actions will, among other things, restrict access to American capital markets for Russian giants like the Rosneft oil company and Gazprombank that operate worldwide. While the latest moves did not cut off entire sectors of the Russian economy, they went significantly further than the financial and travel limits imposed previously on several dozen individuals and their businesses.
The announcement reflected a decision by Mr. Obama to take more stringent steps than those taken by the United States’ European allies, which have far deeper economic ties to Russia. Meeting in Brussels, leaders of the European Union refused to match the American measures and instead adopted a more tempered plan that blocks new development loans to Russia and threatens to target more Russian individuals.
The disparate moves suggested a widening gulf in the response to the crisis in Ukraine and may dilute the impact of the American actions. But both sides emphasized their continued solidarity on the basic demands that Moscow halt the flow of fighters and weapons across the border with Ukraine, support a cease-fire and help facilitate the release of hostages held by pro-Russian separatists.
“What we are expecting is that the Russian leadership will see, once again, that its actions in Ukraine have consequences, including a weakening Russian economy and increasing diplomatic isolation,” Mr. Obama told reporters in an early-evening appearance in the White House briefing room.
Russia quickly denounced the moves and vowed to retaliate. “We condemn those politicians and bureaucrats who are behind such actions,” Sergei A. Ryabkov, the deputy foreign minister, told the Interfax news agency. Mr. Ryabkov said that Moscow would respond with countermeasures that would be “quite painful and serious.”

The sanctions harm “the national long-term interests of the American state, the American people,” Mr. Putin told reporters Wednesday evening in Brasilia at the end of a six-day trip to Latin America.
“It’s a great pity that our partners are following this path,” the Russian president said. “But our doors are open for the negotiating process, for a way out of this situation.”
The firms targeted by the capital market restrictions were some of the most prominent in Russia. Rosneft, owned by the state and headed by a longtime adviser to President Vladimir V. Putin, is the country’s largest oil producer.
Gazprombank is the financial arm of Gazprom, the state-controlled natural gas giant, which is also headed by a Putin ally. Also targeted were VEB, the state economic development bank, and Novatek, another natural gas producer.

The administration also barred business dealings with eight state-owned defense firms; four Russian government officials, including an aide to Mr. Putin and a top official in the Federal Security Service; an oil shipping facility in Crimea, which Moscow annexed; a pro-Russian separatist leader; and the rump rebel organizations in the eastern Ukrainian cities of Donetsk and Luhansk.
The four banks and energy companies will be barred from future loans with a maturity of more than 90 days, meaning they will still be able to conduct day-to-day business with overnight capital but will find themselves shut out of longer-term equity.
Some officials and experts said it could raise the cost of borrowing for Russian firms as they seek other creditors who may be wary of future American steps.
Gazprombank has $8.2 billion in debt over 90 days denominated in American dollars, and while some of that may have come through European or other institutions, officials said the vast majority of it could not be financed, cleared and settled without involving participants in the United States capital markets who would be affected by the new measures.
Mr. Obama’s actions would not bar the targeted Russian banks or energy companies from doing business with Americans or seize their property. Rosneft, for instance, has major joint ventures with ExxonMobil that will still be permitted. But administration officials pointedly noted that such moves were still possible if Russia did not back down.
Craig Pirrong, a professor of finance at the University of Houston, said the current moves might not have that much impact because the affected companies could get American dollars elsewhere. “This will constrain to some degree the size of the capital pool that the sanctioned firms can access, but not nearly as much as could be,” he said.

Rediker, a visiting fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, said the actual exposure to the American capital market may be small. “But the chilling effect on hitting sizable banks and energy companies could cause major second thoughts for doing business and investing far beyond direct U.S. capital market impact,” he said.
Others were more skeptical of the political impact. “What happens if this doesn’t work?” asked Samuel Charap, a senior fellow at the International Institute for Strategic Studies. The “risks of escalation seem huge,” he added, “and there’s a question of whether this level of pain makes losing Ukraine acceptable to Putin. Unlikely, in my view.”
Several lawmakers from both parties praised Mr. Obama’s move, but some Republicans called it inadequate. “Limited actions like those announced today make U.S. threats look hollow,” said Senator Marco Rubio, Republican of Florida, adding that Mr. Obama was “continuing to avoid decisive action.”
American business groups have objected to unilateral sanctions, arguing that they would only hurt domestic businesses while their European competitors swooped in.

The National Association of Manufacturers said it “is disappointed that the U.S. is fundamentally extending sanctions in increasingly unilateral ways that will undermine U.S. commercial engagement and reduce the effectiveness of the measures imposed.”
Mr. Obama tried to address that concern on Wednesday. “These sanctions are significant, but they are also targeted, designed to have the maximum impact on Russia while limiting any spillover effects on American companies or those of our allies,” the president said.
The latest actions reflect a conclusion by American intelligence agencies that Russia has not cut off the flow of fighters and arms across the border to pro-Russian separatists.
Ukrainian officials have said they believe Russia was responsible for the downing on Monday of a military transport plane in Luhansk, a rebel stronghold.
An American official briefing reporters on Wednesday said that the plane was shot down from an altitude of 21,000 feet, and that only a sophisticated weapons system could do that. “Over the past month, the flow of heavy weapons and support for separatists from Russia has actually increased,” the official said.
The White House summoned European ambassadors on Monday to show them new intelligence on Russian involvement in the Ukrainian turmoil and press them to take stronger action.
Mr. Obama called his British and French counterparts, but the critical call came Tuesday with Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, the driving force behind Europe’s response to Russia, when the two coordinated the actions on Wednesday.
In Brussels, the European Council, which defines the European Union’s political direction and priorities, told the European Investment Bank to suspend new financing for projects in Russia and suggested that the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development follow suit.
The council also said it would decide by the end of July on a list of additional sanctions targets, including those “who actively provide material or financial support to the Russian decision-makers.”
That language suggested that Europe might next take aim at Russian oligarchs who are part of Mr. Putin’s ruling clique, a group already penalized by the Americans but so far spared by the Europeans.
“Of course, it is a deepening of the economic sanctions,” Ms. Merkel said after the meeting. Whether it is as much as previously threatened, she added, “We are entering the economic sphere here.”

UN Document Or Not, the Plot to Disarm America Is Commencing
The evidence is mounting that Obama and his colleagues at the United Nations are preparing for complete gun confiscation of civilian-owned American guns. There is a new document, previously held secret, which has surfaced and clearly signals the intention of the United Nations to engage in gun confiscation in the relatively near future. The document is damning, however, the existence of the document is not even needed to prove the point that there is a major confrontation, brewing between the American people and an international peace-keeping UN force, right around the corner.
Another Nail In America’s Coffin
The following is a smoking gun document presents seven sequential steps designed to culminate in the total disarmament of the American nation. For those of you that know your history, you will note that there were 17 genocides in the 20th Century and in each case, these genocides were preceded by gun confiscation by the host government. According to the Democide Project located at the University of Hawaii, governments killed far more people, an estimated 26o million victims, than even war. History shows that if we ever allow government, the UN, or the U.S., to ever be able to seize our guns, we are signing our death warrant!
The following document is a declaration of war against the United States people. For those who find the document to be on the blurry side, scroll down to the Appendix to view a clearer copy.
The UN and its cohorts have accomplished steps 1-5 (see below). They are now working on steps 6 and 7 which would constitute complete disarmament of the American people.

If one examines the first five steps of the plot, it is easy to ascertain the pattern of gun confiscation that Obama has attempted to follow. I do not believe that Obama has to completely implement steps 1-5 before moving to enforce steps 6 and 7. Therefore, even though Obama has not completely implemented the first five steps across the country, he has done enough to usher in Steps 6 and 7 in this United Nations disarmament plan. Steps 6 and 7 are listed below:
“6. Finally, codification of laws to completely makes any and all firearms illegal to own, possess or use outside of military and law enforcement usage.
7. Creation of a United Nations Police Taskforce with the specific mission of assisting member nations with the collection of weaponry from civilian hands”.
The proof for the validity of the intentions signaled by this document does not lie in the authenticity of any single document. The smoking gun evidence that Obama is progressively moving towards seizing all 300,000,000 civilian guns in this country, lies in the ubiquitous manner in which Obama has pursued sequential and progressive steps toward the disarming of the American people. As it has been said, “Judge a man by what he does, not by what he says”. The cases in point would what Obama has tried to accomplish after the Boston Marathon Bombing, the Batman Aurora, CO shootings and the Sandy Hook event. With some very sloppy bootstrapping steps following these events, Obama has progressively attempted to make guns more difficult to obtain and he has greatly expanded what is defined as “military grade weapons” and to limit what is considered to be “appropriate” for hunting as has tried to block Americans from obtaining tas many of these weapons as possible.

I am certain that most people familiar with present Second Amendment debates will recognize the various and omnipresent “gun buy-back” programs funded with your tax money designed to remove guns from civilian hands.
“2. Creation of programs to provide reasonable compensation for voluntary surrender of said arms”.
How many times have we witnessed Obama standing before the cameras and national press corps and threaten to take unilateral action against our gun rights following each one of the false flag events mentioned above? In each instance, Obama has used thinly veiled excuses that he only wants to take away guns that are “military grade weapons”.

Connecting the Dots for Gun Confiscation
Even if the the UN document designed to disarm America, listed above, was not genuine (and it is), the following, very public document has been proven to be very authentic.
Under the heading, “Hiding in plain sight”, the United Nations is advertising for the following position:

There is even more fuel to throw on this raging fire as we consider the fact that, at the behest of President Obama, Secretary of State John Kerry illegally, and in direct violation to the Constitution of the United States, signed the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. The UN Arms Trade Treaty contains all 7 provisions listed above in the Disarmament Commission of the United Nations
There are some who will undoubtedly state that all of these actions potentially lie in the future and there is nothing to worry about and they will advise the country to go back to sleep. However, America, we are being occupied in this latest invasion of our country by illegal aliens from Central America (drug resistant TB and Bacteriological Pneumonia), South America (Dengue Fever) and West Africa (Ebola). According to Dr. Jane Orient and many other health professionals, we are facing a series of possible pandemics. However, this is the only invasion that the country is focusing on. These health crises will be the pretext to roll out the United Nations and their peace-keepers.
What we should be focusing on, as well, is the military invasion that is about to unfold in this country. This will be the military invasion that will be UN sponsored and it will be the one that seizes our guns. Take a look at the following image of UN military vehicles spotted and photographed in our country in the past several weeks.

Even more disturbing is the fact that Warren Buffet, in 2011, headed an effort to help the United Nations acquire all materials needed for the building of nuclear weapons. This is a clear signal that three years ago, the United Nations began making plans to eventually engage in nuclear blackmail, or nuclear war, with nations that might opposed their grand takeover of the planet.
Under the guise and distraction of a massive and disruptive illegal immigration invasion of the United States, the real threat lies in what going to follow the massive resettlement into this country by what will be millions of immigrants. Dr. Jane Orient stated on my most recent radio interview with her that it is not a matter of “if” but “when” we will see pandemic outbreaks of virulent diseases and viruses for which Americans have no immunity. And of course, the humanitarian efforts will be brought into play as they pose as medical rescuers driving around in white MRAP vehicles.

The issue of military grade weaponry in the hands of civilians looms ever larger in the face of the global implementation of 22/Agenda 21 by member nations. In particular, the United States of America has an estimated 500 million weapons in the hands of its civilian population. This is not just a static problem, it is a massive dynamic problem for the process of confiscation as there will be those who refuse to surrender their firearms.
The conclusion of discussions by the CWCSG led to the adoption of a proposed agenda to begin the process for introducing to member nations a framework by which they can begin codification of national laws to disarm civilians within their borders through a graduated process.
Within the discussion framework, we have identified several problem areas that must be addressed, they are:
1. Classification of military grade weapons to be made illegal for possession.
2. Creation of programs to provide reasonable compensation for voluntary surrender of said arms.
3. Codification of laws to begin the restricting and strict licensing of concealable firearms.
4. Codification of laws to begin the restricting and strict licensing of hunting grade firearms.
5. Codification of laws to restrict the sale of, and possession of ammunition and components to manufacture ammunition.
6. Finally, codification of laws to completely makes any and all firearms illegal to own, possess or use outside of military and law enforcement usage.
7. Creation of a United Nations Police Taskforce with the specific mission of assisting member nations with the collection of weaponry from civilian hands.
The CWCSG will submit its findings and final recommendations once we have created the codification framework for member nations for a full review by the Office of the Secretary General.
Here we have the secret United Nations document to disarm America. In the next article, in this series we witness the building of the multi-national force designed to disarm America under UN authority.

Oppose the Israeli invasion of Gaza

The International Committee of the Fourth International (ICFI) denounces the ground invasion of Gaza by the armed forces of Israel. What is unfolding is a calculated war crime against a defenceless population of 1.8 million Palestinians, who are trapped in the tiny strip of land of less than 200 square miles by the blockades imposed by the Zionist state in the north and east, and by the Egyptian regime in the south.
All those in ruling circles who assert that the onslaught is a justified response to the firing of crude rockets into Israel by the Islamist Palestinian movement Hamas are beneath contempt. Just one Israeli has died as a result of Hamas’s retaliation to the slaughter of dozens of its members and hundreds of Palestinian civilians, including scores of women and children, by Israeli airstrikes.
Throughout June, Israeli forces used the pretext of searching for three missing teenagers to rampage through the West Bank, detaining over 600 alleged Hamas members and terrorising the Palestinian population. For the past two weeks, Israel has rained death and destruction upon Gaza, targeting not only more than 1,000 civilian homes, but cafes, mosques, health centres, vehicles clearly marked as media, water plants and sewage treatment facilities.
The assertion that the invasion of Gaza was provoked by Hamas’s rejection of an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire is no less contemptible. The so-called ceasefire included none of the basic demands of the Palestinians, above all the lifting of the economic blockade and the release of those detained by Israel in the West Bank and other political prisoners. It was offered solely so that it would be rejected and give the US, the European powers and the Arab states the propaganda they needed to legitimise the Israeli assault.
Moufeed al-Hasainah, the Hamas housing minister, stated yesterday: “We want a ceasefire, but not a ceasefire at any cost. We’re not animals. What is a ceasefire without an open border crossing? Without salaries? Without jobs?”
Before the ground invasion, at least 243 Palestinians had already been killed in Gaza and more than 1,800 wounded. The carnage will now soar.
Brigadier General Motti Almoz, the spokesman of the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), declared that as of 10 p.m., Thursday night, “large ground forces accompanied by massive air force support, naval forces and intelligence, are taking over targets in Gaza, operating against tunnels and terror activists and infrastructure.”
The Israeli government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday ordered the mobilisation of another 18,000 army reservists. The lightly armed Palestinian fighters who will try to defend their people are confronting over 60,000 Israeli troops, equipped with US-supplied tanks, heavy artillery, jet fighters, helicopter gunships, armed drones and the latest in personal body armour.
Journalists who have filed Twitter reports and other accounts of the initial stages of the assault have already described scenes of terror in northern Gaza towns such as Beit Lahiya and Al Atatra. The Palestinian side of the border is being pounded by tank and artillery fire, airstrikes and Israeli warships off the coast. Electricity has been cut off, plunging the area into total darkness, except for the flashes of explosions.
The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported “dozens taken to hospitals in the north, reportedly choking from some sort of gas.” Before the ground offensive, health authorities already alleged that the IDF was again firing illegal white phosphorous munitions, as it did during the assault on Gaza in 2008–2009, and as American forces did during the 2004 siege of Fallujah in Iraq.
Netanyahu’s representatives have stated that the objective is not to overthrow the Hamas government. The aim of the offensive is to carry out mass killings and inflict mass destruction, then withdraw and leave Gaza a smoking ruin. In the north of the strip, leaflets dropped by the IDF from the air ordered the populations of six entire towns near the Israeli border to abandon their homes and seek refuge in Gaza City. Residents of four towns in the centre of the territory were ordered to evacuate to Khan Younis, while in the south, people in two towns were instructed to move to Rafah.
Tens of thousands of people could not or would not obey the edict and are now at the mercy of the Israeli military. The coming days will reveal whether the IDF has been ordered to completely level the targeted communities, on the pretext of destroying tunnels from Gaza into Israel and ending the ability of Hamas fighters to launch their ineffective rocket attacks.
The actions of Netanyahu’s regime testify to the complete moral disintegration of the defenders of Zionism and the utter dead-end of its reactionary perspective of carving out a sectarian Jewish capitalist state in the Middle East. The Zionist attempt to channel the immense class and social tensions within Israel into crushing the decades-long resistance of the Palestinian population has assumed genocidal dimensions. However many die in Gaza over the next days and weeks from Israeli missiles and bullets, the lives of hundreds of thousands are threatened by the virtual collapse of water supplies and sewage treatment.
Netanyahu’s government could not carry out its war on the Palestinian people without the host of accessories to its crimes. US imperialism supplies Israel with endless political and military aid. The European powers issued a predictable statement, declaring that while the European Union “deeply deplores the loss of innocent lives” in Gaza, “Israel has a right to protect its population.” Egypt, the other Arab bourgeois states and the Palestinian Authority of President Mahmoud Abbas have blamed Hamas’s refusal to accept the ceasefire charade they organised with Israel. The Hamas leadership itself has no answer to the assault other than to appeal to the very Arab bourgeois forces and the imperialist-controlled United Nations that have utterly betrayed the Palestinian people.
The atrocities being inflicted in Gaza will deepen the revulsion and hostility of workers and youth toward their own governments and ruling classes, in Israel, throughout the Middle East and around the world. The future, as the WSWS perspective of July 12 stressed, depends on the building of sections of the International Committee of the Fourth International to fight for the program of socialist internationalism, the unity of the Arab and Jewish working class, and a common struggle against capitalism and imperialism.

With such a disproportionate power structure, my strategic advice to the Palestinians would be to adopt a strict policy of nonviolence coupled with a massive investment in cameras, to be distributed to the people freely and en masse.
The world is already averse to Israel on so many points, a simple shift in international opinion against their favor could work as well as it did for Vo Nguyen Giap in the Vietnam War. If the people behind the political power are influenced into a change in opinion, then that can prove more effective than an entire army on the outcome of a conflict.
Monsters fear nothing more intensely than exposure to the light.

The Butterfly Effect? I’ve heard the Palestinians vowed to destroy the Israeli state or all Israelis, something like that. And here we are over 50 years later and the Israelis have responded with, “Not if we get you first.”
For many, many more generations, there will not be peace in the Middle East because there will not be justice. The political will does not exist on behalf of the West/North nation powers. Andorra
Leopold Kohr was a rather obscure Austrian economist from the early 20th century who spent the better part of his career railing against the ‘cult of bigness’.
Kohr’s fundamental premise was simple: Big doesn’t work. Big corporations. Big governments. Big countries. There are just too many problems from size.
Think about ancient Rome. As the empire expanded, Rome’s imperial government had to create layers and layers of bureaucracies. Municipal levels, provincial levels, regional levels, etc.
They had to maintain a massive standing army to secure their constantly-growing borders. Tax collection was a nightmare. Infrastructure constantly needed expansion and maintenance.
It was all so costly, and absolutely required that Rome run an unwieldy, behemoth government.
History tells us that large governments almost invariably lead to waste, corruption, and overextension of power. It’s the large governments that rattle the sabers and constantly threaten warfare.
It’s large governments that maintain police states, that spy on their citizens, and commandeer nearly every personal choice imaginable with regulatory agencies that tell us how to educate our children and what we can/cannot put in our own bodies.
As Kohr theorized, bigness often leads to tyranny.
Moreover, it all ends up costing far more than a nation can afford… which is why big governments historically rack up even bigger debts.
Most of today’s big, established ‘rich’ countries are in exactly the same boat that Kohn predicted: heavily in debt. Militant. Aggressive. Tyrannical.
If you look at the more financially successful nations today, i.e. those with solvent governments who do not indebt future generations to drop bombs by remote control drones, they’re nearly all small.
Hong Kong has some of the lowest tax rates in the world. And yet the local government is awash with so much cash that they frequently send tax refunds back to local residents.
Singapore is in a similar position; the city-state has zero net debt, a strong defense force, incredibly low tax rates… yet they still manage to funnel excess tax revenues back into the economy, often as tax breaks or business incentives.
Here in Andorra is another example.
The personal income tax hasn’t even been implemented yet, but it technically only goes as high as 10%. Local property taxes are a joke– a friend was telling me she pays 70 euros a year to the local municipality.
Corporate income tax tops out at 10%. There are no estate or inheritance taxes. No wealth tax. No capital gains tax.
Yet this place remains one of the most civilized counties on the planet, and is tremendously affordable to boot.
(It doesn’t hurt that Andorra is gorgeous– postcard perfect. And it gets about 300 days of sunshine per year with some of the best skiing a human being could possibly ask for.)
Smallness is one of the key reasons why these places thrive.
The Andorran government would never be able to afford some massive police state or wage wars in foreign lands. They can’t afford bureaucratic regulatory agencies or obscene surveillance programs.
And the place is way too small for politicians to be able to hide. If the Prime Minister does something stupid, he’ll have 20 neighbors standing in his front yard the next morning taking him to task for his incompetence.
Large countries lack this sense of community and accountability. Everything gets lost in the bureaucracy and size.
It’s this very size now that is causing many of the largest economies in the world to collapse under their own weight.
In fact, all over Europe we’re seeing independence movements, from Scotland to Catalonia. There’s even been serious discussion raised about breaking California apart into six separate states.
This seems radical to most people. But when you look at the evidence objectively, smaller is about the only way an organized state can really work.

Sadly today I am reporting to you yet another development that seems as if we are all living within the pages of Ayn Rand’s seminal work Atlas Shrugged.
You may recall from the book that John Galt, the enigmatic protagonist, started off as a young engineer at the Twentieth Century Motor Company.
When the owner of the company died, the heirs decided to run the business according to the new enlightened principles of the time.
Primarily, they let all the workers vote on how the factory was supposed to be run and how much everyone should be compensated.
And it was soon decided that “everybody in the factory would work according to his ability, but would be paid according to his needs.”
Naturally, bright hard-working employees soon left; they found themselves working around the clock for the benefit of others who felt entitled to contribute as little as possible.
John Galt was among the first out the door.
And not long after, the once successful company went bust. No surprise.
Unfortunately this is no longer fiction. Because in the Land of the Free, the United States Congress is striving to make Atlas Shrugged a reality.
Their latest brainchild is to set up a new government bank, stuff it full of taxpayer funds, and loan the money to American workers for the exclusive purpose to help them form collectives and buy the companies they work for.
It’s called the United States Employee Ownership Bank Act.
And, straight from the bill, they aim to provide “loan guarantees, direct loans, and technical assistance to employees to buy their own companies. . .”
The goal of this legislation, curiously, is to “preserve and increase employment in the United States” which is still problematic six years after the global financial crisis.
Since September 2008, the US government has increased its debt level over 50% to $17.6 trillion.
The US Federal Reserve has increased its balance sheet four-fold, conjuring $3.5 trillion out of thin air.
All of this was supposed to create jobs. And with each of these being a failed policy, Congress is now descending into outright socialism.
To be fair, people throw around the word socialism a lot. They’ll say “Obama’s a socialist” or something like that. Often it’s taken to exaggeration.
But this legislation– the government effectively sponsoring the communal takeover of private business– is textbook socialism: private property and the means of production owned by the community.
Socialist Yugoslavia actually tried the exact same thing: worker-owned cooperatives. And the consequent failure was absolutely epic.
But politicians never let pesky things like truth get in the way of a bad idea.
It’s time to wake up smell the reality. This isn’t about panic. It isn’t about doom and gloom. It’s about facts, not fear.
Any rational, thinking person has to look at this and ask a simple question: where is this trend headed?
The evidence is pretty clear. And more and more people are starting to realize it.
People all over the world are thinking: “This is not the country I grew up in. And I don’t like the trend.”

At least 15 dead in Israeli shelling of Gaza school: Health Ministry

GAZA/JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Israeli forces shelled a U.N.-run school sheltering Palestinians in the northern Gaza strip, the Gaza health ministry said on Thursday, killing at least 15 people and raising the conflict’s death toll to nearly 750.
Israel Radio said, without citing a source, that most of those killed at the United Nations school were children.

The Israeli military had no immediate comment on the incident reported as a truce between the Jewish state and Hamas-led Islamist guerrillas remained elusive, despite intensive attempts at mediation.
Ashraf al-Qidra, spokesman for the Gaza Health Ministry, said that as well as the 15 dead, another 200 people were wounded in the attack. The director of a local hospital said various medical centers around Beit Hanoun in the coastal enclave were receiving the wounded.
Pools of blood lay on the ground and on students’ desks in the courtyard of the school near the apparent impact mark of the shell, according to a Reuters photographer at the scene.
“Such a massacre requires more than one hospital to deal with it,” said Ayman Hamdan, director of the Beit Hanoun hospital.
More than 140,000 Palestinians have fled 17 days of fighting between Israel and Gaza militants, many of them seeking shelter in buildings run by the U.N. Refugee Works Agency (UNWRA). Israeli forces are trying to stop militants from Hamas, which rules Gaza, and their allies from firing rockets into its territory.
Palestinians said residents of two southern villages were trapped by days of tank shelling, with medics unable to evacuate wounded. Hamas fired rockets at Tel Aviv and said its gunmen carried out a lethal ambush on Israeli soldiers in north Gaza. Israel earlier won a partial reprieve from the economic pain of its Gaza war with the lifting of a U.S. ban on commercial flights to Tel Aviv.
With Washington’s encouragement, and the involvement of Turkey and Hamas ally Qatar, Egypt has been trying to broker a limited humanitarian ceasefire for the battered enclave.
One Cairo official said on Wednesday it could take effect by the weekend, in time for the Eid al-Fitr festival next Monday or Tuesday, Islam’s biggest annual celebration at the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.

“If the talk is of a humanitarian hiatus for – this is not pleasant to say – removing bodies, all kinds of things that are connected to the civilian population in the short-term, this might be weighed,” the minister, Gilad Erdan, told Israel Radio.
“But I will oppose any ceasefire until it is clear both that the tunnels will be destroyed and what will happen in the post-ceasefire period – how we will guarantee that quiet for the residents of Israel will really be preserved in the long-term.”
With the attack on the school, the death toll in Gaza reached 747 on Thursday. Israeli tank fire and pre-dawn assaults killed 35 people, including an 18-month-old baby and six members of the same family, Palestinian officials said.
BURIED BENEATH RUBBLE
In southern Khuzaa and Abassan villages, they said, Israeli shelling left dead and wounded under rubble, while medical crews could not risk approaching. Elsewhere in Gaza, a U.N. aid agency said three of its teachers were killed in Israeli air strikes.
Israel has lost at least 32 soldiers in clashes inside Gaza and with Hamas raiders who have slipped across the fortified frontier in tunnels. The military confirmed there had been a new clash on Thursday but did not immediately publish casualties.
Palestinian rockets and mortar bombs have killed three civilians in Israel. Such shelling surged last month as Israel cracked down on Hamas in the occupied West Bank, triggering the July 8 air and sea barrage on the Gaza Strip that escalated into an invasion a week ago.
Though Israel’s Iron Dome rocket interceptor has shot down most of the rockets fired from Gaza, one that came close to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday prompted the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to bar American flights there.
An ensuing wave of cancellations by foreign airlines sharply reduced traffic at Israel’s usually bustling international gateway at the height of the summer tourist season. It was hailed as a victory by Hamas and prompted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to appeal to the Obama administration to intervene.
The FAA canceled the ban late on Wednesday after reviewing the security situation. The European Air Safety Agency (EASA) said on Thursday it was about to follow suit and lift its own recommendation to avoid flying to Tel Aviv.
US Airways, a unit of American Airlines Group Inc, said it was resuming its non-stop Tel Aviv to Philadelphia service. Germany’s Lufthansa said its suspension of flights to Tel Aviv would continue to Friday.
“The Europeans did not really deliberate over this, but acted more as a follow-up to the American decision,” said Gadi Regev, chief of staff for Israel’s Civil Aviation Authority.
Some European flights have been diverted to Cyprus’s Larnaca airport, where passengers took Israeli carriers to Ben Gurion.
Gaza militants continued to fire rockets at Israel on Thursday, sending thousands in the country’s south racing to shelters or safe rooms. There were no reported casualties.
Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal said on Wednesday that his fighters had made gains against Israel and voiced support for a humanitarian truce, but only if Israel eased restrictions on Gaza’s 1.8 million people. Hamas wants Egypt to open up its border with Gaza too.
U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay said on Wednesday that there was “a strong possibility” that Israel was committing war crimes in Gaza, where medical officials say most of those killed were civilians.
Pillay also condemned indiscriminate Islamist rocket fire out of Gaza, and the U.N. Human Rights Council said it would launch an international inquiry into alleged violations.
A furious Netanyahu denounced the inquiry as a “travesty”.
“The HRC should be launching an investigation into Hamas’s decision to turn hospitals into military command centers, use schools as weapons depots and place missile batteries next to playgrounds, private homes and mosques,” he said.
“OUTRAGE AND REGRET”
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who has also been on a truce-seeking mission, lashed out at Gaza militants, expressing “outrage and regret” that rockets had been found inside a U.N. school for refugees for the second time during the conflict.
Ban said storing rockets there “turned schools into potentially military targets, endangering the lives of innocent children”, along with U.N. employees and the tens of thousands of sheltering Palestinians. He urged an investigation.
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry returned to Egypt on Wednesday after seeing Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the occupied West Bank and Ban and Netanyahu in Jerusalem.
“We have certainly made some steps forward. There is still work to be done,” said Kerry, on one of his busiest regional visits since Netanyahu called off U.S.-sponsored peace talks over Abbas’s power-share deal with Hamas in April.
Gaza has been rocked by regular bouts of violence since Israel unilaterally pulled out of the territory in 2005.
Hamas, which rejects Israel’s right to exist and is shunned in the West, balked at Egypt’s proposal for an unconditional truce, saying its terms had to be met in full for any end to the conflict. Israel briefly held fire last week at Cairo’s behest.

President Obama: Well, unfortunately, we have a Congress that’s broken down. And I know that a lot of times people who are watching what’s happening in Washington sort of feel like, “You know, a plague on both their houses. Democrats, Republicans, they’re all the same. None of them care about us.” But the truth is that we have a very specific problem. We have a House of Representatives that is so ideologically driven at this point that they are not able to carry out basic functions of government. So we saw this during the government shutdown. The idea that we would shut down the government based on a notion that we’ve got to drastically cut the basic safety net — despite the fact that the deficit has come down by more than half during my presidency — is not based on common sense, it’s not based on any sound economic theories. It’s based on the ideological predispositions of a handful of folks who are currently calling the shots in the House of Representatives. The same is true, we just recently saw, with immigration reform; we have bipartisan support for immigration reform. We know that the economy would grow faster, that we would end up seeing $1.4 trillion in additional growth in the United States if in fact we passed immigration reform. We know that there are companies across the country, particularly in the high-tech sector, that are begging to have highly skilled immigrants — who we’ve trained, we’ve paid for and are now going back to their home countries to start businesses — stay here in the United States. Despite all that, we still couldn’t get the House of Representatives to act, primarily because of politics, primarily because they’re captive of a small ideological band inside their caucus. And so, I don’t think this is a permanent state of affairs; I think over time the Republican Party will move back to the center, mainly because if they don’t, they’ll never win the presidency again.
Obama was right. Republicans have no choice, but to move back to the center. Republicans haven’t even begun that process. In fact, they have responded for calls to move to the center by moving harder to the right. This isn’t rocket science. Since the Great Recession, the country has been moving more to the left. The GOP has responded to this shift by resisting all change and purging their party of anyone who isn’t a far right ideologue.
The Republican Party continues to try to fool voters into supporting their agenda. They like to disguise their extremist agenda with moderate sounding people and language, but voters aren’t buying.
The results are based on more than 18,000 interviews with Americans from 13 separate Gallup multiple-day polls conducted in 2013.
In each of the last three years, at least 40% of Americans have identified as independents. These are also the only years in Gallup’s records that the percentage of independents has reached that level.
Americans’ increasing shift to independent status has come more at the expense of the Republican Party than the Democratic Party. Republican identification peaked at 34% in 2004, the year George W. Bush won a second term in office. Since then, it has fallen nine percentage points, with most of that decline coming during Bush’s troubled second term. When he left office, Republican identification was down to 28%. It has declined or stagnated since then, improving only slightly to 29% in 2010, the year Republicans “shellacked” Democrats in the midterm elections.
Not since 1983, when Gallup was still conducting interviews face to face, has a lower percentage of Americans, 24%, identified as Republicans than is the case now. That year, President Ronald Reagan remained unpopular as the economy struggled to emerge from recession. By the following year, amid an improving economy and re-election for the increasingly popular incumbent president, Republican identification jumped to 30%, a level generally maintained until 2007.
Democratic identification has also declined in recent years, falling five points from its recent high of 36% in 2008, the year President Barack Obama was elected. The current 31% of Americans identifying as Democrats matches the lowest annual average in the last 25 years.
Fourth Quarter Surge in Independence
The percentage of Americans identifying as independents grew over the course of 2013, surging to 46% in the fourth quarter. That coincided with the partial government shutdown in October and the problematic rollout of major provisions of the healthcare law, commonly known as “Obamacare.”

The 46% independent identification in the fourth quarter is a full three percentage points higher than Gallup has measured in any quarter during its telephone polling era.
Democrats Maintain Edge in Party Identification
Democrats maintain their six-point edge in party identification when independents’ “partisan leanings” are taken into account. In addition to the 31% of Americans who identify as Democrats, another 16% initially say they are independents but when probed say they lean to the Democratic Party. An equivalent percentage, 16%, say they are independent but lean to the Republican Party, on top of the 25% of Americans identifying as Republicans. All told, then, 47% of Americans identify as Democrats or lean to the Democratic Party, and 41% identify as Republicans or lean to the Republican Party.
Democrats have held at least a nominal advantage on this measure of party affiliation in all but three years since Gallup began asking the “partisan lean” follow-up in 1991. During this time, Democrats’ advantage has been as high as 12 points, in 2008. However, that lead virtually disappeared by 2010, although Democrats have re-established an edge in the last two years.

Implications
Americans are increasingly declaring independence from the political parties. It is not uncommon for the percentage of independents to rise in a non-election year, as 2013 was. Still, the general trend in recent years, including the 2012 election year, has been toward greater percentages of Americans identifying with neither the Republican Party nor the Democratic Party, although most still admit to leaning toward one of the parties.
The rise in political independence is likely an outgrowth of Americans’ record or near-record negative views of the two major U.S. parties, of Congress, and their low level of trust in government more generally.
The increased independence adds a greater level of unpredictability to this year’s congressional midterm elections. Because U.S. voters are less anchored to the parties than ever before, it’s not clear what kind of appeals may be most effective to winning votes. But with Americans increasingly eschewing party labels for themselves, candidates who are less closely aligned to their party or its prevailing doctrine may benefit.
Survey Methods
Results are based on aggregated telephone interviews from 13 separate Gallup polls conducted in 2013, with a random sample of 18,871 adults, aged 18 and older, living in all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.
For results based on the total sample of national adults, the margin of sampling error is ±1 percentage point at the 95% confidence level.
Interviews are conducted with respondents on landline telephones and cellular phones, with interviews conducted in Spanish for respondents who are primarily Spanish-speaking. Each sample of national adults includes a minimum quota of 50% cellphone respondents and 50% landline respondents, with additional minimum quotas by region. Landline and cell telephone numbers are selected using random-digit-dial methods. Landline respondents are chosen at random within each household on the basis of which member had the most recent birthday.
Samples are weighted to correct for unequal selection probability, non-response, and double coverage of landline and cell users in the two sampling frames. They are also weighted to match the national demographics of gender, age, race, Hispanic ethnicity, education, region, population density, and phone status (cellphone only/landline only/both, and cellphone mostly). Demographic weighting targets are based on the March 2012 Current Population Survey figures for the aged 18 and older U.S. population. Phone status targets are based on the July-December 2011 National Health Interview Survey. Population density targets are based on the 2010 census. All reported margins of sampling error include the computed design effects for weighting.
In addition to sampling error, question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into the findings of public opinion polls.

You will feel that your only recourse is to cleave to one side or one way of being and to suppress or deny the other…But this is not “the way”, this is not your Path of Spirit, this is not the way to move from darkness into the Light.
You are an Intelligent Spirit, and you are here in these conflicted realms in order to learn how to bring together what has come apart. You are a Life-Consciousness-Energy Field and it is through Intelligence, Love and Will that you can and will heal these apparent divides. You are here to be the Living Bridge of Understanding, by which the so-called divisions of nature will become healed and made whole.
This particular challenge (really, your particular opportunity to grow) is formed by Mars in Scorpio forming a square with Jupiter in Leo. Though many will comment or write about the negativity or violence of this alignment, (for in some minds certain aspects or planets or signs are better or worse, good or evil), the truth is that Energy is neither “good” or “bad”, what matters is Spiritual Consciousness, what matters is the level of Awareness of the being or group of beings experiencing these flows of energy in, through and around them.
The essence of the challenge/opportunity is this: Mars in Scorpio is pushing/pulling one and all to act with greater Passions and Actions to break through the fear of Separation and Loss and claim the prize of a Deeper, Transformative Union. Yet if passions are too inflamed, and desires pursued too strongly, if one party pushes or pulls too hard it might very well violate the spiritual integrity of the other. Rather than forming a better shared, sacred space through mutual sacrifice, the excesses inflaming one or both into fear-based passions will force one another into an arrangement that ends badly for both.
Jupiter is holding forth from the realm of Honor and Respect, from the regal realm that is Leo. Jupiter is shaping, informing and hopefully calming the Passions of Mars, by firmly yet Lovingly reminding Mars that a Union formed upon the violation of another’s integrity will only end by diminishing both. Jupiter reminds Mars that a healthy Union is lived and demonstrated by acting with the intention guided by the Love for what is best for the other, and this follows from the principle that you must love the other as you love yourself, and you would never wish to have yourself or your space be diminished by such misplaced desires. All unions are formed by loving, mutual and integral sacrifice, for your love for each other means you wish what is best for one another.
Sacrifice means “to make sacred”, and it is only right and proper that you give up the lesser things in your life for the Greater qualities of Life. But it is a false sacrifice to implore, persuade or force another to surrender their core beliefs, principles or values even if it were to lead to some (illusionary) space of togetherness. If someone is forced into a false sacrifice, they have been made to surrender their core to another’s ego, and what made them who and what they are is lost in a vain attempt to forge a Union that is based upon a lie, formed upon fear and not by love.

I will also help and support any active, peaceful countermeasures to help prevent or overturn any such violent, aggressive actions against sovereign lives and property.
By this act of secession, I will no longer listen to any speeches, comments, or information communicated by that entity known as the “United States Government.” All such information will be instantly declared not credible and subject to verification and confirmation by reliable, non-state sources. Any verbal or written communication emanating from this entity will automatically be considered a lie until proven otherwise.
By this act of secession I remain open to the idea of being ruled by similar such entities, but such an action will occur only with unequivocal consent by me and legitimized by mutual contractual agreement.

I need a trailer to live in and park here at 2705 Terry Houston, Texas 77009. This house had a fire in 2009 and has not been fixed and rebuilt. It’s been almost 5 years. I have insomnia because I cannot sleep because of the condition of this house and all the animals like bed bugs, fleas, mites, mosquitos, lice, etc. that keep attacking me and making me itch and scratch 24 hours a day. Now I have a gas water heater that is not working and I can’t take a hot shower or bath to keep myself clean. I spoke with a couple of my brothers today and told them that I was looking for a trailer to put here so that I can live better. It’s after 4AM and I should be sleeping so that I can work and contribute here in Houston where I was born and raised. I was born at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Downtown Houston on August 27, 1956. I’ve come to realize what kind of Nation we have become, “Cowards in the comfort of our own homes.” How can we stop anything from happening, When all we do is come together behind a Computer or IPhone? A Roster of the Dead
This is a list of bodies, a roster of the dead, who might have been called Witnesses had they not met their untimely ends. Some of the names on this list will give you pause. Some are rumor. Some you may find incredible, and some frightening. Do your own research. You will draw your own conclusions.
The above paragraph began the last edition of the Bush Body Count. In previous editions, there were no special criteria for adding bodies – only that they could be related to the Bush family in some way, and be dead. In fact, the original Bush Body Count started as a parody of the so-called Clinton Death List.
Times have changed. The Bush Body Count is no longer a parody, and many of the names have been removed. This edition examines the scandals and misdeeds of the Bush family generations, and lists the corpses they leave in their wake.
Bush Went Awol – Bodies
Sid Adger
Mr. Adger, a Houston oil supply company executive and Bush family friend, died in 1996 of unknown causes. Adger was the mysterious businessman who approached General James Rose and asked him to help George W. Bush avoid Vietnam by recommending him for a pilot position with the National Guard.
General James Rose
General Rose recommended George W. Bush for a pilot position with the Texas National Guard. He died of unknown causes in 1993. He was immediately buried and no autopsy was performed.
Lt. Colonel William Harris, Jr.
Lt. Col. William Harris was one of two commanding officers who could not perform George W. Bush’s annual evaluation covering the year from May 1, 1972 to April 30, 1973. They stated in their filing that “Lt. Bush has not been observed at this unit during the period of this report.” Fortunately for George W. Bush, Lt. Col. Harris is not here to verify his 1973 statement. He’s dead.
Lt. Colonel Jerry B. Killian
Lt. Col. Jerry B. Killian was another of George W. Bush’s commanding officers. He cannot testify in a court of law as to George W. Bush’s dereliction of his sworn duty. Lt. Col. Killian is dead.
James Downing Aalund
Mr. Aalund’s name is the first on a long list of young Texans who died in Vietnam. These young men did not have influential fathers to pull the strings necessary to get them into the Texas Air National Guard. If they had been so lucky, they would surely have fulfilled their responsibilities to the ANG, if only out of gratitude that they did not have to die, thousands of miles away in a strange land. They surely would not have disappeared from duty for over a year, as did our fearless leader George W. Bush.
Enron – Bodies
J. Clifford Baxter
Found dead in his car, shot in the head. Mr. Baxter was vice chairman of Enron Corp. when he resigned in May 2001. Enron has been hot copy lately with the revelation that they were the largest campaign contributors for George W. Bush. Was J. Clifford Baxter a potential witness to Bush foreknowledge of their wrongdoings? His death was ruled a suicide.
Charles Dana Rice
He was the senior vice president and treasurer of El Paso Corp., an energy corporation swept up in the recent energy scandal. Two months after the “suicide” of Enron executive Clifford Baxter, in the midst of questions about the accounting practices of El Paso Corp., Charles Rice was found dead of a gunshot wound to the head. His death was ruled a suicide.
James Daniel Watkins
His body was found on December 1, 2001 in the Pike National Forest in Colorado, a gunshot wound to the head. Mr. Watkins was a consultant for Arthur Andersen, the accounting firm for Enron. He disappeared on November 13 after he left work. He was described as a devoted family man who always called home if he were going to be late. Officials initially said that the death was suspicious, but have changed their tune and have ruled his death a suicide.
Commerce Secretary Ron Brown
He died in a plane crash on April 3, 1996. Was Ron Brown the first Enron body? In 1995 Enron officials accompanied Brown on a trade mission to India, and to Russia in 1994. Speculation among right-wing whackos suggests that our last duly-elected President, Bill Clinton, was somehow responsible for his death, but we wonder: was Secretary Brown privy to information that would conclusively link George W. Bush to Enron greed and corruption? Charles Meissner, Assistant Commerce Secretary, also died in this crash.
Jake Horton
He was the senior vice-president of Gulf Power, a subsidiary of Southern Company, a cohort of Enron in the energy industry, and a major contributer to the Bush agenda. According to reporter Gregory Palast, Horton knew of the company’s appalling accounting practices, and “… had no doubt about its illegal campaign contributions to Florida politicans – he’d made the payments himself. In April of 1989 Horton decided to come clean with state officials, and reserved the company jet to go confront company officials. Ten minutes after takeoff the jet exploded.
Kennedy Assassination – Bodies
John Fitzgerald Kennedy
An internal FBI memo reported that on November 22 a reputed businessman named George H. W. Bush reported hearsay that a certain Young Republican had been talking of killing the President when he came to Houston. The Young Republican was nowhere near Dallas on that date. According to a 1988 story in The Nation, J. Edgar Hoover said in a memo that Mr. George Bush of the CIA had been briefed on November 23rd, 1963 about the reaction of anti-Castro Cuban exiles in Miami to the assassination of President Kennedy. George H. W. Bush has denied this, although he was in Texas and cannot account for his whereabouts at the time.
Hale Boggs
He sat on the Warren Commission, which concluded that President Kennedy was slain by a lone assassin. Later, in 1971 and ’72, Boggs said that the Warren Report was false and that J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI not only helped cover up the JFK murder but blackmailed Congress with massive wire-tapping and spying. He named Warren Commission staff member Arlen Specter as a major cover-up artist. Congressman Boggs’ plane disappeared on a flight to Alaska in 1972. The press, the military, and the CIA publicly proclaimed the plane could not be located. Investigators later said that was a lie, that the plane had been found. On the plane were Nick Begich, a very popular Democratic Congressman, and Don Jonz, an aide to Mr. Boggs. All were killed.
George de Mohrenschildt
A rich Russian oilman, he was described with his wife as being the two people friendliest to Oswald at the time of the assassination. De Mohrenschildt was the man who moved Oswald to Dallas. In the late 1970’s, shortly before the first meeting of the House Select Committee on Assassinations, de Mohrenschildt started seeing a new doctor in town. He quickly became mentally unstable, at which time his wife convinced him to stop seeing the doctor. They moved away and left a false forwarding address. On the same day that the Committee tried to contact him about testifying, he was found dead of a gunshot wound. In his personal address book was the entry Bush, George H.W. (Poppy) and Zapata Petroleum Midland (the oil company owned by George H.W. Bush).
Mrs. E. Howard Hunt
In December 1972, while George H. W. Bush was at the Republican National Convention, a United Airlines flight carrying Mrs. Dorothy Hunt, CIA operative and wife of Howard Hunt, (CIA operative and suspect in the Kennedy assassination) crashed. Believed to be carrying $25,000 in “hush money”, she died in this crash.

He was investigating Lawrence E. King, Jr., a very influential black Republican who was also a friend of George H.W. Bush. King was director of the Franklin Community Credit Union in Omaha, Nebraska, and was suspected of embezzling $40 million . The Nebraska Senate questioned child prostitutes, who accused King of running a child prostitution ring. One of these children said that she saw George H.W. Bush at one of King’s parties. “Pronto”, a newspaper in Barcelona, Spain, reported that the scandal “appears to directly implicate politicos of the state of Nebraska and Washington DC who are very close to the White House and George Bush himself”. On July 11, 1990, Gary Caradori was killed along with his 6-year old son in the crash of his small plane, after a mid-air explosion, the cause of which was never discovered. He had told friends repeatedly in the weeks before his death that he was afraid his plane would be sabotaged.
Orlando Letelier
He was torn to bits by a car bomb on the streets of Washington DC just before he was to testify against the Chilean dictator Pinochet. After the bombing, CIA Director George H. W. Bush told the FBI that there had been no Chilean involvement whatsoever. In 1991 the post-Pinochet Chilean Supreme Court asked George H. W. Bush if he would submit to questioning. BUSH REFUSED.
Ronni Moffit
She was Letelier’s assistant. She and her husband were riding in the car with Letelier when the bomb exploded. Mr. Moffit survived. Ronni didn’t.
Jack Delaney and Ted White
These young men were killed when pilot George H. W. Bush abandoned his plane when it was hit by enemy fire. Much has been made of this story – Bush propaganda would have us believe that he was a hero. An eyewitness to the event tells us otherwise: Chester Mierzejewski, who was the turret gunner in another plane, had an unobstructed view. He states that he saw a “puff of smoke” come from Bush’s plane and quickly dissipate. He states that the plane was never on fire and that Bush never attempted a water landing, which was standard procedure, and which would have given Mr. Delaney and Mr. White a chance.
Silent Voices – Bodies
Steve Kangas
His web site, Liberalism Resurgent, was meticulously researched and presented such a problem to the “real boss” of George Bush, Richard Scaife, that he hired a private detective to look into Kangas’ past. Steve Kangas was found in a 39th-floor bathroom outside of Scaife’s offices at One Oxford Centre, in Pittsburgh, an apparent suicide. Mr. Kangas, a very prolific writer, left no note. He had brought a fully-packed suitcase of clothes with him to Pittsburgh. He bought a burglar alarm shortly before he left for Pittsburgh. Why did he need a burglar alarm if he was going to commit suicide? An avowed advocate of gun control, he nevertheless bought a gun. What was he afraid of? Why did he go to Pittsburgh? After his death, his computer was sold for $150 and its hard drive wiped clean. Everything in his apartment was thrown away.
Danny Casolaro
He was working on a book that tied together the scandals surrounding the presidency of George H. W. Bush. He told his friends he was going to “bring back” the head of the Octopus. Instead, his body was found in a hotel in Martinsburg, West Virginia, on August 10, 1991, an apparent suicide.
Mark Lombardi
He was an accomplished conceptual artist who, while chatting on the phone with a banker friend about the Bush savings and loan scandal, started doodling a diagram and was inspired to create a complex series of drawings and sketches that charted the details of the scandal. According to the New York Times, “He was soon charting the complex matrices of personal and professional relationships, conflict of interest, malfeasance and fraud uncovered by investigations into the major financial and political scandals of the day; to keep facts and sources straight, he created a handwritten database that now includes around 12,000 3-by-5-inch cards.”
On the evening of March 22, 2000, Mark Lombardi was found hanging in his loft, an apparent suicide.
James Hatfield
Mr. Hatfield was the author of Fortunate Son, an unauthorized biography of George W. Bush. The book detailed Bush’s cocaine use and cover up of a cocaine arrest. He was found Wednesday, July 18, in a motel room, an apparent suicide.
Prescott Bush – Bodies
William S. Farish
He was one of Prescott Bush’s partners in business deals with Adolph Hitler. He was devastated by the intense grilling he received from the Senate about his dealings with Nazis, and while Prescott Bush skated free, Farish collapsed and died on November 29, 1942.
James Forrestal
He was U.S. Secretary of Defense, and become a problem for Prescott Bush when he proposed racial integration of the Armed Forces. On March 28, 1949, he was forced out of office and flown on a military plane to Jupiter Island in Florida. From there he was taken to Walter Reed Army Hospital, where he was given insulin shock treatments. He was shielded from all visitors except his estranged wife. On May 22, Forrestal’s body was found, his bathrobe cord tied tightly around his neck, after he had plunged from a sixteenth-story hospital window. The chief psychiatrist called the death a suicide even before any investigation was started. The results of the Army’s inquest were kept secret. Forrestal’s diaries were published, 80 percent deleted, after a year of direct government censorship and rewriting
Texas Justice – Bodies
Karla Faye Tucker
She was executed in spite of enormous protest from the public, even those religious groups that advocate the death penalty. Even Pat Robertson thought that Karla was truly repentant and asked George W. Bush to spare her life. He refused. Afterward, in a Talk Magazine interview, Bush mocked the woman whose death warrant he had sanctioned, pursing his lips and whimpering, “Please don’t kill me!”
David Wayne Spence
David Wayne Spence was executed in Texas in 1997 in spite of compelling evidence of his innocence. Two of the State’s witnesses were co-defendants who testified to avoid the death penalty, one of whom changed his story three times in response to discrepancies. He later testified that D.A. Simons encouraged him to alter his testimony. Two other witnesses for the State were jailhouse snitches who recanted later and stated that Simons offered them favors in exchange for testimony. All of this and more was supposedly reviewed by Governor George W. Bush, but Bush refused to commute his sentence, and did not order the Board of Pardons and Paroles to review his request for clemency. It is a myth that a Texas Governor can do nothing to stop executions; the Board will almost always go with his recommendation. Bush washed his hands of the matter and did nothing. Reasonable doubt is not a factor in Texas justice.
Gary Graham
Gary Graham was convicted of the robbery and murder of a white man in 1981. Nearly two weeks after the crime, the state’s prime witness could not pick Gary’s picture out of a photo line-up. Mr. Graham was arrested with a 22 caliber pistol. The victim had been killed with a 22, but the police firearms examiner determined that Mr. Graham’s gun DID NOT fire the fatal bullet. Four witnesses said Gary Graham was with them, miles away from the convenience store, when the murder occured. All four took and passed polygraph tests. George W. Bush, predictably, expressed his faith in the Texas judicial system and allowed Mr. Graham to be put to death. Mr. Graham maintained his innocence to the end.

Olof Palme
He was the prime minister of Sweden, assassinated in 1986. Oliver North, the golden boy of the Bush/Reagan machine, had met with Mr. Palme to discuss the possibility of obtaining false end-user certificates for the plethora of weapons that were being purchased, so that they would seem to have come from a country other than the U.S. Mr. Palme refused to participate, after the plan was presented to him. He was dead within weeks.
William Casey
William Casey was CIA Director during the Reagan/Bush Administration. He died 2 days before he was to testify about his and others’ involvement in the Iran/Contra scandal.
Edmond J. Safra
Banker Edmond J. Safra died mysteriously when a fire swept his Monaco penthouse apartment. His banks had been used for laundering money by the Bush Iran/Contra traitors.
Charles M. McKee and Matthew Gannon
Charles M. McKee, ostensibly a military attache for the DIA in Beirut, Matthew Gannon, CIA Deputy Station Chief in Beirut, and three others were on board Pan Am Flight 103, which exploded over Lockerbie, Scotland. They were part of a counterterrorist team in Beirut investigating the possible rescue of 9 American hostages in Lebanon. The McKee team uncovered evidence that a rogue CIA unit called COREA, based in Wiesbaden, was doing business with a man called Monzer Al-Kassar, a Syrian arms dealer and drug trafficker. Al-Kassar was part of the covert network run by U.S. Lieut. Colonel Oliver North. Outraged that the COREA unit in Wiesbaden was doing business with a Syrian who had close terrorist connections and might endanger their chances of rescuing the hostages, the McKee team decided to fly back to Virginia unannounced and expose the COREA unit’s secret deal with al-Kassar. They never got there. “For three years, I’ve had a feeling that if Chuck hadn’t been on that plane, it wouldn’t have been bombed,” said Beulah McKee, 75, Charles McKee’s mother, to Time Magazine. Four months after her son was killed for his efforts to expose the CIA, Mrs. McKee received a sympathy letter from George H. W. Bush. Mrs. McKee has never been satisfied with the government’s version of events.
Don Aronow
He was a close friend of George H. W. Bush. According to the book “George Bush, the Unauthorized Biography,” there is compelling evidence to conclude that Aronow was a drug smuggler and suspected drug-money launderer. He was murdered by professional killers on February 3, 1987. In the days before his death, he made many personal calls to George H. W. Bush.
Tommy Teagle, a man interviewed by author Thomas Burdick, was afraid of being murdered by Bush because he had knowledge that Aronow and Jeb Bush had been partners in cocaine trafficking.
Michael Hand
He was a Green Beret and an Army Colonel assigned to the CIA. He ran the Nugan Hand Bank, a front for CIA drug money, in Sydney, Australia. He was in frequent contact with George Bush after his election to Vice President, according to CIA operative Trento Parker. Michael Hand was found in his car on a remote road outside Sydney, an apparent suicide. There were no fingerprints on the gun.

Bob Stevens
Mr. Stevens died of a mysterious case of anthrax. He worked as a photo editor for American Media, who owns the National Enquirer. The Bush family suffered enormous embarrassment at the hands of the Enquirer when they published a photo of daughter Jenna Bush, obviously intoxicated, cigarette in hand, cavorting on the floor with another drunken female.
Don C. Wiley
Dr. Wiley disappeared November 15, 2001 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was attending a two-day annual meeting of the scientific advisory board of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. His work on deadly diseases such as ebola and HIV raised fears of a terrorist kidnapping. Four hours later, his rental car was found on a bridge, raising the question of suicide, which his family vehemently refuted. Dr. Wiley was found a month later in the Mississipi River.
Salem bin Laden
In 1979 Bush business Arbusto Energy obtained financing from James Bath, a close family friend. Bath had extensive ties to BCCI and the bin Laden family. Bath was the sole U.S. business representative for Salem bin Laden, the brother of Osama bin Laden. It is well known in certain circles that the Arbusto money came straight from Salem bin Laden, although Bush denies it. Salem bin Laden died when for no apparent reason, he flew his airplane into power lines where it became entangled, and fell 150 feet to the ground. “He was a very experienced pilot. He was a good pilot. We just can’t understand why he decided to go right instead of left,” recalled airstrip owner Earl May field.
Thomas Morris Jr.
Mr. Morris was a postal worker who died October 21, 2001, of inhalation anthrax. When people expressed concern to the current occupant of the White House about the anthrax cases in New York and Washington, his response was to tell us not to worry, that he does not have anthrax.
Joseph Curseen
Mr. Curseen died October 22, 2001, of inhalation anthrax. It has been reported that the anthrax infections since September 11 are of the same strain that was kept in a military facility.
Kathy T. Nguyen
Ms. Nguyen died on October 31, 2001, of inhalation anthrax. But we shouldn’t worry – George W. Bush remains anthrax-free.
Katherine Smith
She had been implicated in February in a phony passport scheme said to be related to the September 11 hijackers. One day before she was due in court, she was incinerated in her car after having hit a utility pole. An investigation revealed that the crash was minor and was not the cause of the fire that burned Smith beyond recognition. Who was really behind 9/11? Was Katherine Smith privy to that information? Why did she have to die, and who killed her?

Apotheosis
The Sacred Path, the Pathway to Perfection…
These are the Four Sacred Directions:
You Rise in the East, as Aries,
You Turn to the South, in Cancer,
You Bow in the West, through Libra…
And so now you will take this Fourth Way,
Look to the North as you enter Capricorn.
The Twelve Signs of the Zodiac are the Living Waters of Life-Consciousness-Spirit.
These Four of the Twelve are the Realms of Awareness-Action, they are the Signs of Identity:
Aries is your Self-Awareness; Libra your Awareness of the Other.
Cancer is your Sacred Center; and Capricorn is your Destiny.
These four corners form the Cross of Purpose; this is the Axis that leads to Apotheosis. In Aries you are Inspired by the Flame of Spirit of being a “one”, you are Self-Aware. In Libra you Know by Mindful Air, you are for one another, you are Inter-Dependent. In Cancer you Feel through the Waters of Life, you are centered and anchored by your Source. In Capricorn you are made Manifest by Earth, you assume your responsibilities as you seek to fulfill your Destiny.
These Sacred Four form what is known as the Cardinal Cross; held together they are the whirling wheel that creates the Sacred Path-Way of Praxis. For this is “the Way”, that by this Integral Path that combines Inspiration, Thought, Feeling made Real, it is by this that your wondrous Journey of the Divine-that-is-the-Self-Becoming is made manifest.
For you are an Immortal moving through mortal realms and forms. You move into Worlds, Bodies and Lives, but forever and ever you will always “walk on” through and beyond any one world, body or life. You are the self-becoming more and more of what you will be as you unfold the Spark of the Divine that resides at the Core of you in each and every life.
And in each life you will grow and become what you are meant to be through “Trial & Error”. You will succeed at times, and you must and will also stumble. For it is by these “failures” and your adjustments that you climb the spiral path of conscious redemption. And, it is by this that you will come to understand, accept and become more of what you are here to be…a fully conscious co-creator of this Cosmos.
Yes you are climbing, higher and higher, and at each turning you face again the ancient questions and fundamental truths that were there at the beginning…oh so long ago.
Today, as Winter begins, when the shadows have stretched to their greatest extent, and the light seems to be fading away, it is now that you and the world will hold your breath…and you will pray. It is time once again, to face the darkness and believe, that Light and Truth and Goodness will not fade away. It is time to remember who you are, where you came from, who is before you, and why you are here…it is time once again to have a living faith in your destiny.
For though it may seem that your world is falling into shadows, that your life and world is in dire peril…you will find a way through. As the familiar forms of self-realization are cracking and crumbling, whether in the realms of Religion, or Government, or Education or the Economy…you will come to know that this is merely the wheel of life turning again, for an old world is passing so that a new and better one shall rise…as it has done many, many times before.
And this change, this re-birth, does not come from on high, it will not come by Fiat or by the will of the temporal holders of Power. No, the change in every world, form and life starts in the center of each and every one of you, from within each and every individual heart that hears the “Wind of the Spirit” and answers to the angels of our better nature. It is the “Voice of the Silence”, your Higher Self abiding in the Intuitive Knowing that a better world is coming to be…and that you must be its Creator.
Each year, at this time of Capricorn, you are asked to examine quite simply this one question, “What is the Responsible thing to do, what is my Responsibility?” To understand this you need but turn that word around. Your responsibility is always and forever about your “ability to respond”. To what, you might ask. What or to who are you responding? How can you know? How?
Know Thyself!
You are a Spark of the Divine, moving now through this Kingdom of being Human. It is in this time of your Spiritual Education that you are to learn what is “the good”, for you are endowed with the gift of choice, (and angels and those greater than they envy you this choice). You are given this gift so that you might learn to choose what is good, or better or loving. So that you can become a conscious, loving co-creator of creation.
For today, in this time, you are here to respond to the needs of yourself, your family, your friends and to all of those with whom you journey. For you have come far and learned much, and you are only here now because you have taken care of one another, helped one another, and loved one another so as to create and form these living-loving spaces for one another that can preserve, protect and promote Life-Consciousness-Spirit. Remain focused upon this, and you will keep to the pathway of Spirit.
There is much work to do when a world is passing away and another is coming into being. Your responsibility is great, but so is your reward. Preserve what you can, for many lives and loves fashioned this world and much in it is good. Be guided by your heart and know that the changes you must face and make should be guided always by the fundamental truth that you are here for one another, you are made by one another, and to harm any other inevitably means that you injure yourself equally too.
Today you need remember, that even in the darkest hour, there remains a Light that will not go out, a Love that will not fail, and a Promise that will be Fulfilled. And this is so because you stand within a shining Hierarchy of Light that stretches from the Heart of Creation to the furthest reaches of this Cosmos. Every being within this Company of Brave Souls is slowly awakening to the truth, that all are sparks of the Divine, and in the heart of each soul there is found the Alignment and Attunement to one another. All of Creation is of the One, and every particle, life, planet, star and galaxy are At-Onement through and by the Love of the One, and by your love for one another too.
At each and every turning, you will face your destiny. It is right, proper and good to align yourself with those like you who seek to bring about a better tomorrow. As we move from one world into the next, keep in your heart the Great Invocation:
